{The Stars At Night...}

Actually, they weren't so big and bright, but we still had a good time in Texas. We pretty much kept to ourselves, eating, driving, reminiscing.

Our San Antonio hotel room had a spectacular view of the Alamo. It was especially pretty at night. I tried to capture it with my camera - not sure yet how well that worked. We also saw the Alamo IMAX movie again. I have to say that even as cheesy as that movie is, it's still a powerful story. We also hit Fredericksburg, the Texas Renaissance Festival, and Clear Lake.

I'm tired...not much else to say, so I'll leave you with that infamous Davy Crockett quote,

"Y'all can go to hell. I'm going to Texas."

That just never ceases to amuse me. Too bad it didn't work out so well for him.
